Please join us for a weekend of collective care, connection, and hands-in-the-soil stewardship. This work weekend, we’ll gather at Groundswell for a weekend of good fire — clearing, learning, and implementing Indigenous burning practices that restore balance to the forest and renew the soil. Once you complete and submit the form, you will receive a confirmation email with details regarding accommodations, parking, food, project specifics, and more.

I understand that the cabins are currently being renovated, so only a limited number will be available for use. To ensure everyone has a comfortable place to stay, please plan to bring your own camping gear in case tent or car camping is needed. *

What day/time do you expect to arrive? Shifts begin at 8am on Saturday, so we encourage volunteers to arrive Friday evening, anytime after 5pm. Early arrivals are welcome, but please note that you'll need to arrange for your own food until the official start of the weekend. *

With fire prevention (land work) being the main focus of the weekend, we also have a few supporting roles that are essential to keep everything running smoothly. Please indicate how you’d like to divide your time — your selections should add up to 100%. *
